Vanilla Scented Candles
Vanilla is one of the most sought after scent notes in candles. While seeming like a relatively simple smell it is very difficult to achieve and authentic vanilla. Between the makeup of the fragrance oil and the candle formula the vanilla smell will vary wildly. Cheaper candles will often offer a very flat fragrance. More expensive brand might try and elevate the candle by adding more to it, which could be great if that is what you want. To find a true vanilla candle can be a journey.
Baked Vanilla
Baked Vanilla is the candle I created that evoked the most true to life vanilla smells that I have come across. Baked vanilla felt like the best name because the smell reminds of baked goods that use vanilla extract. Just the right amount so that it's prominent and not overpowering. The smoke and velvet notes describe the smoothness a vanilla can have when baking. Other notes like amaretto and praline elevate the vanilla note because of their similarities and add layers to the fragrance.
