Experience the Atlantic
The Atlantic Ocean candle is a true to life sensory experience. This last summer I took a visit to the east coast shore to paint what I saw. This painting was direct inspiration for the artwork on the candle itself. After going back home I created a fragrance blend that represented best how that wind rolls off the ocean as I walked towards it. Here is the fragrance breakdown.
Top Notes: Sea Salt, Ocean Air
The air always makes the first impression when you make your way to the ocean. The saltiness of the aquatic expanse combines with fresh ocean air. Just like this experience the top notes in a candle are what you will smell first.
Middle Notes: Cotton Blossom, Lilly
Floral notes are what make the heart of this candle. A soft and natural compliment to the other fragrance notes specifically chosen to depict the coastal plant life.
Bottom Notes: Amber, Musk
True to life is what I strive for when picking and blending fragrance. I had to make sure I not only captured the fresh and floral notes but the warmth of the day too! Temperature directly how the world smells to us and by adding the notes of amber and musk a subtle warmth was achieved.
